bridal veil falls and a perfect day

Saturday we went up Provo Canyon to soak up the last warm days of the season. We walked the Bridal Veil Falls trail and Steve, Alex and Megan climbed up the Falls. They got pretty high up! After that, Steve and I went to the BYU/CSU game. It was so much fun and the weather was just perfect!!!

OUCH!!!

BYU got spanked last Saturday by Florida State. Our tickets are right next to the visiting section and man, were they lovin' it! They had all sorts of things to say to us, and all sorts of hand gestures to make to us. But on the good side, Cougar stadium was filled to capacity, we got to go into the tent for some good eats with Steve's parents, Nick and Karly were with us, and we got to spend a fun day together. You have to take what you can get, I guess!!!

labor day 2009

Today was such a nice day to spend with family. We had a beautiful gathering at Grandmother's gravesite this morning and a delicious KFC feast at mom and dad's after that. We went swimmimg at Grandad's pool and then came home and had a nice nap, then it was off to Chick-Fil-A for their free chicken sandwiches (if you were wearing any team's logo--we were all true blue...) It was just a good day all around---bring on the week!!!

for anyone who hasn't seen on facebook, my good friend gretchen (from aerobics) took some beautiful pictures of our family today at gardener village. it was so sweet of her to take her morning to do this for us...we've never had pictures taken "on location" before.

first day of school 2009

such a blog SLACKER!!!

So sorry to my loyal little bunch of fans who look so forward to reading our blog (all tongue in cheek, people...) I have been swayed over to facebook and love it a little too much. Anyway, here are a few pictures from the past week. I took the girls and went with Lindsey and Jonah to St.George to see Footloose again. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!! And the flowers were from Steve after I had a small meltdown last night realizing how much I have to do in the next few weeks (school, primary, piano) Anwyay, enough of the whining--enjoy the pictures!!!

cOlLiNs mArRiEd!?!

The baby in our family, collin, got married this morning in the salt lake temple. it was so beautiful and the whole day was just perfect. the reception was catered by leatherby's...what's not absolutely perfect about that, right? we love carrie so much and are so so so happy that she's an official olson now. congrats you guys!!
