joining the workin' stiffs...

looks like starting next wednesday alex will be joining the ranks of many other men and start working. he got hired on at ab's drive-in and i don't think you could find another 15 (almost 16...he keeps reminding me...) year old who is as excited to start working as alex. he'll be such an asset to the drive-in with his happy disposition and cute little face. i wanted to go into the interview with him and tell the lady that, but alex did NOT think that would be okay. he held his own and got hired an hour after they interviewed him. way to go albert!!!

fun at lagoon?!?

i know...lagoon is not the most fun for someone as motion sick as me, but me and alex sure had fun with gramps yesterday. he had to go for safety patrol and alex and i decided to "chaperone" with him. the weather was beautiful and we had a great day (with no throwing up!!!)

we had so much fun in burlington last week---aside from taylor teasing everybody that he saw and having such a major meltdown in the car that we had to stop on the side of the road! we love you guys and wanted to say thanks again for hosting the wj's!!!
