Alex's Seminary Graduation

Alex graduated from Seminary last night. 4 years seemed to fly by...High School graduation tomorrow morning. Excited for him, but having a hard time accepting all of my kids growing up. He's such a good boy and we are sure proud of the young man that he has become.

Warriors over the Wasatch

This past weekend we were able to go to the Air Show up at Hill. It was AMAZING! We stayed in a really nice hotel in Ogden, went to Denny's for dinner and had a wonderful time as a complete family of 7...not an easy feat to get all of us able to do a weekend together. Loved every minute of being with Steve and the kids!!!

It was SO cold, SO rainy and SO much fun!!! We say we went for Taylor, but we all kinda got a little feeling of patriotism being up at Hill Air Force Base. USA...USA...USA...!

pre-school graduation

Brite Stars Day School is over. Taylor had his little graduation ceremony today, complete with ribbons, a diploma and a graduation cap. He has had an absolute blast and has learned SO much. One more year until kindergarten---hope it gets easier to send him then!

The Mothers In My Life

This Mother's Day I'd like to pay tribute to the many mothers that are examples to me in my life.

Steve has a wonderful mom who has raised 6 pretty great kids. I admire her so much and am thankful to have her as my mother-in-law.

My sister and sisters-in-law are the best! Each of my 6 brothers married an amazing woman who completes him. And my sister Lindsey couldn't have married a more perfect man for her! They are all constant examples to me of what motherhood is. I love them all so much!

And my own mom? What can I say about her? In the words of Mary Poppins, "She is practically perfect in every way...". I love her with all of my heart and am thankful every day that I have her in my life. If I can be half of the mother that she has been and continues to be to me, I will count my life a success. I love you mom!

Taylor's Perfect Day

Steve had some training downtown yesterday and asked if Taylor and I would like to join him for the morning. We went to the new City Creek Center and it definitely lived up to all of its hype. It was a really fun time with 2 of my favorite boys.

Waiting was the hardest part of the day

Such great buddies

He got such a kick out of the dancing water fountains at City Creek

Still mesmerized by the train!
