nothing else to do...

...since the kids are all eating (or still sleeping in Alex's case), I figured I'd post a few thoughts this morning.
*** How cute is little Taylor? He finds little things and likes to put them in other places. I find socks in the dishwasher, underwear in the tupperware drawer and the latest? My nice Fossil watch in the garbage can.
*** My mom and dad are awesome! Over the weekend my Grandad was in the hospital and without a thought, they threw a suitcase into the car and drove all night to go see him. Family is everything, isn't it?
*** I have my History of Civ midterm this Thursday morning so any extra "good vibes" you might have would be appreciated!!!
*** David Archuleta's tour starts tomorrow. Probably not too many of you that actually care, but WE DO!
*** I am severely tired of the winter. This spring fever is actually killing me--quit toying with us Mother Nature!!!
*** I need a vacation (in the immortal words of Bob Wiley, "A vacation from my problems...") Not that I want to switch trials with anyone else, I am just tired of mine.

Random, right? Sorry to put you all through that---hopefully good news next blog around.

Temple Square Outing

We had a nice time visiting Steve's parents on Temple Square last week. They are serving a full time mission there for the next year or so. We saw the Cristus (sp?) and went to a really neat exhibit all about families. We felt the spirit so strongly (Alex leaned over to Steve and said, "This is pretty cool...") and left having a greater appreciation for our membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. (Shhhhhh, don't tell Alex but I think he's finally taller than me and Steve...)
P.S. Anyone know how to change the date on cameras? This was SO not taken in 2007!

16 years?!? Good Grief!!!

The post you've all been waiting for---it's our anniversary today and I'm dusting off the pictures. Oh, those huge hair days---trust me, it was in style at one time!
Anyway, Steve and I are celebrating our 16 year anniversary today. We were married on a FRIGID morning (lots of sun but bitter wind) in the Jordan River Temple. My life with Steve is nothing short of perfect. He is the best father, husband and buddy I could have asked for! Who would have thought that as a naive 19 year old I would have been able to choose my perfect mate? I know that Heavenly Father blessed me to have Steve as my husband. I love him more than anything and thank my lucky stars that he chose me. LOVE YOU BABY!!!
