party at the Larsen house!!!

Between Steve's 2 jobs, my one job, school, homework, and diaper after diaper, we sometimes forget that we LOVE spending time together as a family. So, Steve and I bought 20 bucks worth of junk food for the "kids" (okay, so we had some too...) and watched the most hilarious movie ever. It's one that my family watched a ton when I was growing up and is called, "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World". It's from quite a while ago, but it is so clean and has nothing remotely disturbing in it and is just dang funny. If you're looking for a feel-good, laugh-out-loud movie that you want to watch as a family, take this as a recommendation! Just don't watch it before dinner---all of that candy made the kids SiCk!!!

VOTE FOR MEGAN!!!

Megan is running for 8th grade Rep. at Sunset Ridge, so if you know any kids in 8th grade that go there, tell them I'll give them a shiny new penny if they'll vote for my cute Megan!!! (Thanks Phil SO much for drawing our little chicks, do you just love their hair?!?!?)

oUcHiEs!!!!

Poor Taylor....(it is NOT neglect, I promise!!!)....he fell out of a wagon that Megan was pulling and landed smack dab on his noggin! He had a whopper of a goose-egg last night but the swelling is down today and now it is just turning the beautiful shades of the rainbow..."red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue..." Sunday, just a couple of minutes before church, he fell and landed on a toy and bruised his cheek. So all of that stuff on his face that looks like dirt is just a weeks worth of falling down. Little boys = lots of owies....dangit!!!!!

poor little guy...

I have had such a bad cold this past week and can't smell or taste anything. Being forgetful, or busy making dinner, or whatever, this is how little Taylor had to tell us that he needed his diaper changed. What a bad mom I am!!! By the way, the stuff on the ground by him is just grease from the old barbecue grill--I know what you thought it was..... And even another side note, he did get changed into a clean diaper and some nice warm pj's so don't go calling DCFS on us or anything. We love our Taylor!!!

THAT was close...

It's a good thing the Easter Bunny remembered to come (the bunny and her sidekick kinda got caught up in watching the ten commandments)---that darn bunny would have had a LOT of explaining to do tomorrow morning! Poor little guy didn't even have time to find the Easter Baskets before the kids came home from Lindsey's tonight! We'll see how good the Larsen kids are at sharing their candy. They really are so good to eachother--we don't expect any problems.
(p.s. Not to go all "ARCHULETA" on you or anything, but watch the cute Zero Gravity video on my sidebar...lovin' him!!!)

my funny taylor...

not a terribly exciting entry, but just kinda fun. taylor LOVES to stand on the stovetop (don't worry...we're standing right behind him) and put his cheek next to the microwave while his food is cooking. we don't know if he likes the feel of the vibration or the sound it makes when it is done. just look at that pure joy on his face in the picture. what a funny boy!!!

what a good boy!

Alex received his "Life" award this past week and as we've been looking through the rest of the requirements he needs to do before his Eagle it looks like he's only about 3 merit badges away from being done! He is so excited to get his Eagle (which is definitely good news for me and Steve...) Any ideas for Eagle projects?
