ALICE...in Wonderland

Jeepers Creepers! 4 months of after school rehearsals, $90.00 spent on tutus and leotards and 5 performances later, Megan and Annie are finally done with "Alice in Wonderland Jr." What a fantastic thing these past 2 years of performing in school plays has been for them!!! Who knew there were some acting genes hidden in my 2 cute girls?

Steve and I took the girls to the Desert Star Playhouse to see "Back from the Future" last Saturday night. It was a present for Megan's birthday. Pretty funny play! We enjoyed Cafe Rio before and a hot brownie sundae during the play! Love my girls!!!

alex is a datin' MACHINE!

I can't tell ya who, but Alex asked a cute little girl out to Junior Prom last night. The pinata was filled to the BRIM with confetti (our shredded junk mail) and candy. There were also 10 cute little folded notes (thanks to the girls) but only one of them had Alex's name on it. We took it to her house last night, rang the doorbell and ran like crazy. She was pretty excited (according to the high pitched squeal) when she opened the door! In Alex's words...."Now we play the waiting game...."

Our Anniversary

Last Sunday, Steve and I celebrated our anniversary. Hmmmm...18 years and 5 kids later I still think he's the bees knees!!!

I'd better hurry and post before Alex tells me not to! What a good looking couple these two make! She told him she'd practiced pinning the boutonniere on her dad so it wouldn't fall off. Alex had the ACT test (5 hours!!!) early this morning and a day at work too so he was super excited to have something really fun to do tonight. But seriously, how cute are they?!?

let's get "tangled"...

Took the kids this afternoon to see the cute new Disney movie---Tangled (the story of Rapunzel). It was super cute and we had a great time....missed Steve (his eBay schedule dangit) but had fun nonetheless.
